After-School Tutoring

We have joined forces with Instituto Reescrever to transform education in Vidigal, starting with literacy as a fundamental pillar to form more conscious and prepared citizens. Our work goes beyond traditional after-school tutoring: we offer pedagogical support in all subjects, integrating courses that develop autonomy, such as basics on the value of money, and promoting circles for social discussion and inclusion.

With a personalized methodology, we work to heal learning gaps and restore self-esteem to children and teenagers. We believe that by uniting pedagogical support with citizenship building, we prepare our students to overcome barriers and identify school as a place of pleasure and opportunity, from elementary to high school.

Project Objectives

• Literacy and Reading Fluency: Ensuring that every child learns to read with confidence, eliminating the barriers that prevent the learning of all other subjects.

• Multidisciplinary Pedagogical Support: Assisting in the comprehension of school content across all subjects of elementary and high school, healing accumulated learning gaps.

• Conscious Citizenship Building: Promoting socio-environmental development and empowerment through courses and spaces for reflection.

  Financial and Social Education: Providing basics on the value of money and promoting discussion circles on inclusion and the community's social challenges.

• Autonomy and Self-Esteem: Developing independence in studies and restoring the pleasure of learning, combating stigma and feelings of inadequacy.

• Training for the Future: Preparing students for a competitive job market through an education that unites basic schooling and citizenship skills.
